    How You Can Help!

    1.  Become a member of the Greenwich Area Historical Society.

    Annual dues are $6.00 per year via the website. $9.00 for you and your spouse. Our year is June to June.

    2. Volunteer a couple hours of your time to help with our projects.

    Work sessions are scheduled during the museum “open hours” on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of  May through October. Stop by and see what you can do to help!


    3. If you have an item that is “Greenwich Area Memorabilia” let us borrow the item for future display.

    We are looking for photos that include the downtown area before 1980.   We are also looking for photos of ball teams, town events, the fourth of July festival, parades,  bands, town officials, etc.  Greenwich High School and South Central uniforms, clothing and other memorabilia.  If you have any Greenwich historical item you would like to donate or loan to the museum, let us know!!

      Giving to Greenwich Area Historical Society (GAHS) FAQ

      Q. Can I designate my gift to GAHS for a specific purpose?
      A. Yes. You may designate your gift to a specific program, or toward our general endowment. Your undesignated gift will be used where needed most.
      Q. Are my gifts to Greenwich Area Historical Society tax-deductible?
      A. Yes. Greenwich Area Historical Society is a nonprofit, tax-exempt, 501(c)3 organization. Your gift is tax-deductible, to the full extent of the law. If you have received goods or services in exchange for your gift (i.e. purchasing an auction item), the value of those goods or services is deducted from the total amount of your gift for the tax-deductible portion of your gift.
      Q. How should I make my check payable and where do I mail it?
